I am feeling super proud and happy to be included in the Aesthetica Art Prize 2023 Long List, with my work ‘Wall of Nature’ featuring in the Future Now 2023 Anthology. You can catch a screening of my work at York Art Gallery from March 24th to June 4th 2023 alongside the work of the shortlisted artists.
The Aesthetica Art Prize 2023 exhibition brings together 100 long listed artists and 25 short listed artists in a show that offers creativity as a form of expression, with projects spanning the boundaries of genre – from painting, photography and sculpture to installation, mixed-media and video. These works survey the ethics of representation, mass digitisation, globalisation, diasporic identities and the threats of climate crisis.
The works of selected artists are published in the Future Now: Aesthetica Art Prize 2023: 125 Contemporary Artists.
